Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric care team in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will assist the supervising PT with mobility-focused therapies and evidence-based treatments to support residents’ functional goals.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ PTA license, can evaluate and treat independently, and enjoys working in a dynamic, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a New Jersey PTA license.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Preference for experience with geriatric residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physical therapist with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Support overall fitness and wellness programs for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
