Job summary

Regency Hospital – Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for per diem/coverage as needed at our Oregon, OH location. You will assist in delivering PT services, implement plans with the PT, engage patients in strengthening, balance and gait activities, and train patients in mobility using assistive devices.

A valid PTA license and BLS are required. The role supports a large network size and offers orientation, potential advancement and benefits including 401k eligibility after

Qualifications

• Valid PTA license required in the relevant state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery of physical therapy services, including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans and programs as established by the PT.
• Assist the PT with interventions to meet long-term patient goals, including strengthening, balance and coordination work.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices.
