Job summary
Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Staten Island, NY. The PTA will support a plan of care, collaborate with the supervising PT, and contribute to a compassionate rehab team.
The role offers mentorship, career growth, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and weekly paychecks. Prior NY PTA licensure is required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Current New York State PTA License.
Responsibilities
- Select therapy activities that follow the plan of care set out by the supervising PT.
- Assist residents in carrying out daily activities.
- Monitor residents' performance in therapy activities and document as needed.
