Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions, LLC in Machias, ME is seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab team. You will provide comprehensive therapy services and collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff to support residents’ independence.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license or is eligible to practice in Maine, is proficient with electronic documentation, and demonstrates strong teamwork and flexibility with hours.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and experience with electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting and be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
