Job summary

Health First is seeking a healthcare professional to actively participate in Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by delivering exceptional care in a professional manner. You will collaborate with therapists, comply with safety protocols, and document treatments and the plan of care as required.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, responding to inquiries, coordinating daily schedules, and ensuring accurate charges for services.

Qualifications

• Completion of a discipline appropriate degree from an accredited program/college.
• Current or Temporary Florida license.
• Interpersonal communications skills.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety at all times.
• Ensures compliance with precautions and documents all current precautions and changes in status.
• Follows the plan of care and consults with the therapist when changes to the plan may be indicated or when a progress note or reassessment is due.
• Provides patients with effective treatments that progress them towards their goals and documents treatments according to applicable guidelines, standards and policies.
• Attends department meetings that take place during scheduled work hours; otherwise, reviews and signs meeting minutes.
