Job summary

UCLA Health seeks a Licensed Psychiatric Technician to provide high-quality, compassionate care to behavioral health patients under RN supervision. You will implement and evaluate care plans, perform assigned tasks, and collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to support patient well-being.

This position floats to various units within the UCLA Health system based on census and staff skills; may convert to a career opportunity. Salary range: $41.37 hourly.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting (required).
• California Psychiatric Technician Licensure (required).
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).
• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group activities to psychiatric patients on an acute psychiatric inpatient unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients with behavioral health needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
