Job summary

Clearview Outpatient LLC in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication consultation, and collaborate with community prescribers. The NP will ensure PHP admissions are medically necessary and clinically appropriate.

On-site at least weekly, the NP delivers pharmacological treatment as indicated and reviews related lab work. You will work with staff, clients, families, and external partners to support treatment engagement.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, CA license requirements met.
• Experience with mental health PHP/IOP or psychiatric hospital preferred.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience treating young adults and adults; co-occurring disorders a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Psychiatric Evaluations and ensures medical necessity for PHP.
• Provides medication management on site at least weekly.
• Educates patients and families to improve treatment engagement.
• Collaborates with staff on clinical activities and interventions.
• Maintains medical records and documentation timely.
• Participates in outreach events occasionally.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Director.
