Palm Point is currently recruiting for Per Diem/PRN Mental Health Technician. The Mental Health Technician (MHT) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from children ages 5-12, adolescents 13-17, and adults 18+, depending upon which unit is worked. The Mental Health Technician (MHT) leads therapeutic MHT groups with patients and is able to intervene effectively in crisis situations. Mental Health Technicians work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Shift/Hours: 7am-7pm and 7pm to 7am, any day of the week.
Shift Differential for night and weekend shifts:
Qualifications
Education: Associates and/or Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: Prior health care experience, preferably in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.
Certification: BLS/CPR certification required or obtained during orientation prior to direct patient care.
