Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc in New Jersey is seeking a Per diem PreOp/PACU RN to join our ambulatory surgery center. The RN provides continuous, high-quality care for patients recovering from anesthesia, supporting safety and comfort through careful assessment and treatment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active New Jersey RN license, BLS and ACLS (PALS as required), and 2 years PACU/CCU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Strong communication skills and nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients in PACU.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks and consciousness sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients and families pre-discharge.
