Job summary

Princeton Orthopaedic Associates (POA) seeks a Per Diem Pre-Op/PACU Nurse to join our brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced orthopaedic environment.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in New Jersey with current ACLS/BCLS certification and perioperative or ambulatory surgery experience. You will support patient safety, documentation, and coordination with surgeons and anesthesia teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BCLS certification required (can be obtained within 6 months).
• Experience in peri-operative or surgical settings; orthopaedic or ambulatory surgery center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and verify charts and orders prior to cases.
• Administer medications and IV fluids; respond to emergencies as needed.
