Princeton Orthopaedic Associates (POA) invites applications for per diem OR Nurse positions at our brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center in New Jersey. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality orthopaedic surgical outcomes.

We seek graduates of an accredited nursing program with NJ RN license and ACLS/BCLS certification. Peri-operative experience is a plus, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the State of New Jersey required.
• Peri-operative or surgical suite nursing experience; orthopaedic or ambulatory surgery center experience a plus.
• ACLS/BCLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Admit and prepare patients for surgery; verify charts, pre-op workload, and physician orders are complete prior to each case.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intra-operative patient care; use clinical judgment appropriate to patient age, size, and medical condition.
• Administer medications and IV solutions safely; initiate or assist with emergency measures for cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, or shock.
• Maintain accurate, concise, and timely documentation in the medical record and patient care plan throughout the surgical episode.
• Operate and maintain specialized operating room equipment safely; monitor infection control compliance.
• Coordinate patient discharge; communicate pertinent observations to physicians and care team.
• Support orientation of new staff and participate in departmental meetings and in-services.
