Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Per Diem Pre-op/PACU RN to join our surgical team at our Lady Lake, FL center. This role offers flexible daytime hours, weekdays only, with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include assessing preop/postop status, interpreting monitors, and applying discharge scoring criteria. Florida RN or Compact license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency are required. Competitive compensation and supportive environment offered.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or Compact State license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days)
• Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with resourcefulness and proactivity

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status according to policies.
• Interpret data from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes using scoring systems (e.g., Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring).
