Per Diem Program Physician or Psychiatrist – Springdale, AR

MedMark Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support and medical services. We deliver medically-supervised services for adults in a variety of modalities and settings. We are looking for a full‑time physician dedicated to helping patients on their road to recovery.

Primary Job Function

• Admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
• Cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, addiction meetings, and personal absences.
• Obtain a history and physical exam.
• Document and enter orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or write a buprenorphine prescription.
• Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses.
• Consult on high‑risk patients and conduct annual medication reviews.
• Supervise physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

Qualifications, Education, and Certifications

• Board‑certified or eligible in any residency.
• Licensed in the State of Arkansas.
• At least one year of experience in addiction medicine.
• Ability to interact compassionately with a diverse population.
• Successful drug screen and criminal background check.
