Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Oregon, OH for per diem coverage. The role supports the PT with delivery of services and patient progression toward long-term goals, including mobility training and use of assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of physical therapy services, including transportation, exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist.
• Assist the PT in carrying out interventions to meet long-term goals (strength, balance, endurance, mobility, pain relief).
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices.
