Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum with an Associate Degree approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• New York State Education Department Certificate Number.
• Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant registration.

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follows treatment plan as outlined by primary physical therapist.
• Documents progress notes immediately after treatment.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork in a hospital setting.
