Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our inpatient post-ICU recovery team. This PRN/Per Diem/As Needed role offers weekday schedule and compensation of $37.00 per hour.

You will assist with the delivery of physical therapy services, implement treatment goals set by the PT, and support patients in strengthening, balance, endurance, and community re-entry. You may train patients in locomotion using orthotics or assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of physical therapy services including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the PT.
• Assist the PT in carrying out interventions to meet long-term goals (strength, balance, endurance, functional skills).
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices.
