Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in an Acute Rehab setting. You will perform delegated PT procedures, document progress, and adapt interventions within the established plan.

Per diem schedule offers flexibility; you will help ensure patient safety, address age-specific needs, supervise a PT aide, and coordinate workflow with the therapy team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Licensed in state of practice or temporary permit where applicable.
• Entry-level OK for PTA.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy procedures.
• Perform delegated procedures and modify treatment within the established plan.
• Document patient progress notes and report changes.
• Ensure patient safety, addressing age-specific needs.
• Coordinate workload and supervise the Physical Therapy aide.
• Identify and report patient safety issues.
