Tuolumne Me-Wuk Indian Health Center in Sonora, CA is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support therapy care delivery by preparing treatment areas, equipment and patients, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The position is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, non-exempt.

Title: Physical Therapy Aide
Reports To: Director of Physical Therapy
Schedule: M-F; 8am-5pm
Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Working under the administrative supervision of the Director of Physical Therapy, the PT Aide supports physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment and materials, performing modalities and procedures all under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Walking, standing, and sitting for prolonged periods of time; climbing stairs, step-stools, etc.; stooping, kneeling, crouching, balancing, and reaching; pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds; raising objects overhead; manual dexterity for operation of computer and phones; hearing, talking, and good verbal and written communication skills; repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers; subject to outside environmental conditions of heat and cold; and walking on uneven ground. The position requires the ability to safely operate and drive a motor vehicle.
