Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure in state is required; DPT preferred for newer licensure.
• 1-2 years of internship/apprenticeship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes billing sheet by end of day.
• Evaluates treatment progress and adjusts plans to maximize benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Supervises PTAs per policy and state regulations.
• Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with patient and family.
• Participates in hospital-wide quality process improvement.
