West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital in Miami, FL seeks a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team on a Per Diem basis. The role offers an hourly compensation of $55.50, with flexible scheduling and per diem duties, aligning with our commitment to exceptional patient care.

You'll assess patients, develop treatment plans, supervise PT/PTA students, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support brain and spinal injury recovery, while adhering to department policies and continuing

Qualifikationen

• State Licensure as Physical Therapist (PT) is required.
• Certified BLS is required or to be obtained within 90 days of employment.

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participate in discharge planning with patient education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise PTs, PT/PTA students, and assistants as needed.
• Deliver individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment during sessions.
• Complete documentation per department policies.
• Participate in continuing education and in-services.
