Job summary

HealthFitness seeks a Physical Therapist to join our wellness team in Rockleigh, NJ. In this per diem role, you will provide dedicated one-on-one patient care, focus on outcomes, build relationships, and support each patient’s journey.

Flexible hours average 10–20 hours per week on Tue/Wed/Thu with morning and afternoon slots. You will coordinate and deliver early intervention services, triage injuries, and educate within OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S or higher in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical therapy licensure in New Jersey.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications with in-person component.
• 2+ years’ experience in prevention and rehab of orthopedic injuries.
• Proficiency in Functional Movement Analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Computer software skills to manage participant management programs.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and implementation of yearly Injury Prevention plan.
• Coordinates Injury Prevention program across client sites with stakeholders.
• Interfaces with HealthFitness leadership and departments to assess needs.
• Carries out supervisory duties per policies including training and evaluation.
• Plans and assigns work to maximize staff productivity.
• Provides mentorship to direct reports as needed.
• Participates in semi-annual performance appraisals and corrective action.
• Leads site assessments, root cause analysis, and well-being education.
• Delivers early intervention services for employees.
• Collects and reports data for IPT services.
• Maintains regular communication with Corporate Support for strategy.
