Job summary

Mercy - Northwest Arkansas (Mercy - NWA) seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist to assess, plan and implement therapy programs for adults and geriatrics. You will supervise patients directly and oversee rehabilitation technicians, with supervision of PT assistants as required by State Practice Acts.

Education: PT degree (Bachelors/MS/DPT); Licensure in state of practice; BLS certification; 6 months to 1 year of rehab PT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Current before caring for patients independently.
• Experience: Six months to one year in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants per State Practice Acts.
