Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for PRN/Per Diem/As Needed coverage at the Critical Illness Recovery Hospital. You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, set goals and develop treatment plans, and supervise PT/PTA students as needed.

Requirements include current state licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS within 90 days. The role offers $50.00 per hour and benefits access for part-time staff after required hours were met.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• BLS certification (or completion within 90 days of employment) required.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Supervising PTs/PTA students as needed.
• Discharging planning and patient education.
