Job summary

Rivertown Health and Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our therapy team. The role involves planning, organizing, developing, and directing PT services in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. Per diem/PRN status offers scheduling flexibility within our therapy department.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, documentation in NetHealth EMR, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• AL license in good standing.
• Commitment to ongoing education.
• Per Diem/PRN schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to residents per established standards.
• Document and bill physical therapy services in NetHealth EMR.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to residents, families, and care team.
• Maintain CMS-compliant documentation and quality standards.
