Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at the client facility, Boro Park Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Brooklyn, NY. You will evaluate residents, develop rehabilitation plans, and supervise PT assistants in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

We offer mentorship, flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends, and highly competitive compensation. New graduates are welcome to apply and grow with our rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort.
