Job summary

BrightStar Care of Acton, Andover, and Lowell is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to support skilled nursing and sub-acute rehab partners in the Acton–Andover–Lowell area. This role offers per diem flexibility and potential PRN roster opportunities across our local care network.

Responsibilities include conducting physician-ordered PT services, evaluating functional status, and delivering interventions with education to patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Hold a current Physical Therapist license or be license-eligible to practice in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services per physician orders.
• Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and quality of life.
• Deliver skilled interventions, therapeutic exercises, and education to patients and caregivers.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely according to standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams for cohesive care.
• Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
