Job summary

Montefiore is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care and perform evaluations and treatments per NYS guidelines and hospital policy. You will supervise PTAs, rehab aides, and students daily, while contributing to a patient-centered team approach.

Required B.S. in Physical Therapy with NYS license; a Master’s is preferred. Knowledge of general therapeutic equipment and a collaborative, high-quality care mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• New York State license and current registration or a limited permit for a recent graduate.
• Knowledge of General Therapeutic Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of the New York State Physical Therapy Practice Act and Hospital Policy.
• Provides daily clinical supervision to P.T.A.'s, Rehabilitation Aides and students.
• Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
