Job summary

Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in California is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy Unit. The role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and hands-on patient care during 8-hour day shifts, with general supervision provided.

Ideal candidates have graduated from an accredited physical therapy program, hold or will obtain a California PT license, and must have BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year of rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school.
• California Physical Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy treatments.
• Educate patients and families; lead and communicate with staff.
• Provide care under general supervision.
