Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fairhaven, MA seeks a Physical Therapist for per diem day shift. Under general supervision of the Rehab & Integrated Services Program Director, you will provide physical therapy to prevent disability, relieve pain, and improve motor function in patients.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, MA and RI licensure, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of experience; proficiency with EMR software and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent
• Current License in Physical Therapy in MA & RI
• Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic records programs
• One year of experience in physical therapy
• BLS & CPR certification
• Must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption in writing

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services directed towards preventing disability, relieving pain, developing, improving or restoring motor function and maintaining maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance.
• Support the Rehab & Integrated Services department under supervision of the Program Director and Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Follow established policies and maintain patient records using EMR systems.
