Job summary

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Bradford is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for per diem shifts. The role involves independent treatment planning under a licensed PT and requires MA licensure or active application, with a current BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professionals in MA or application in progress.
• BLS for Adult/Child/Infant preferred.
• APTA membership in MA/NH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function independently and implement treatment plans under the direction of a registered PT.
• Complete timely documentation and statistics (flow sheets, progress notes, discharge summaries).
• Delegate duties to PTAs, aides and supportive staff.
• Coordinate and organize a full treatment caseload.
• Attend team conferences and report on patient status.
• Pursue continuing education to enhance staff, patient and family education.
