Henrico Doctors' Hospitals is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery. You will assess patients, design personalized therapy plans, and work with physicians and the care team to achieve meaningful goals and strong outcomes.

Qualifications

Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy.
AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia.
Acute care experience preferred or new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

Responsible for clinical management of the patient.
Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff).
Participates and understands Quality Management activities.
Demonstrates effective communication skills.
Demonstrates understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Promotes cost effective unit operations.
Documents care utilizing the appropriate tools.
Maintains competencies in clinical areas and is responsible for professional growth and development.
Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards.
