Job summary

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all ages.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, proper labeling, processing, and transportation of specimens.
• May assist in patient recovery and rapid response to medical emergencies in inpatient settings.
• Communicates with patients and care teams to address concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements.
• Performs additional test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
