Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pennsylvania Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) credential is required upon hire.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription orders.
• Adheres to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Fills medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensures medications are labeled, checked by a pharmacist, and dispensed timely.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates with team members for ordering and restocking.
• Handles medication expiration monitoring and compliance with record-keeping for controlled substances.
