Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus seeks a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician I to assist the Bruin Health Pharmacy under the Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center. This role supports pharmacists, handles core pharmacy duties, and adheres to university policies. Eligible candidates must hold a CA Pharmacy Technician License and may have PTCB certification.

Background checks and pre-placement physicals apply. Typical schedule runs 8:00 a.m.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager of the Bruin Health Pharmacy at the Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center and/or their designee (e.g. Staff Pharmacist) the Per Diem Pharmacy Technician I shall perform the functions of pharmacy technician and shall be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the core functions and duties and perform other pharmacy functions as listed below. A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician I is not authorized to perform any act requiring the exercise of professional judgment by a Pharmacist.

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

• Certified Technician by examination PTCB (Preferred)
