Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

You will perform data entry, filing, and participate in drug purchasing and inventory control; contribute to Pharmacy Department performance improvement projects and workload data collection. California tech registration or internship is required.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing related to the process and functions related to drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements as needed.
