Job summary

UCI Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician who will prepare and label drug products under supervision, perform data entry, and assist with purchasing and inventory control. The role supports performance improvement efforts and data collection across the Pharmacy Department.

The successful candidate will hold a California Pharmacy technician registration or be registered as a Pharmacy Intern, with preferred completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.

Qualifications

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Preferred: Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform required data entry and filing associated with the process.
• Assist with drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects and collect data for workload measurements.
