Job summary

Nuvem’s Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate per-diem pharmacist to support a Federally Qualified Health Center in Hutchinson, KS. The role covers or overlaps with the current pharmacy manager and aims to empower you to lead pharmacy staff and collaborate with the health center team.

The position involves patient education, medication counseling, and ensuring regulatory and quality standards while maintaining a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with patients and providers.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred; 340b knowledge is a bonus.
• Three years of related pharmacy experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Manage staff pharmacists and technicians, guiding education and training.
• Oversee pharmacy operations: patient safety, regulatory compliance, QA, and workflow.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to local laws and facility policies.
• Engage with clinic providers and participate in clinical meetings.

Nuvem’s Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a compassionate, patient centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. Our goal is to make you feel empowered in the role that you play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the pharmacy manager. This position is for a per-dem pharmacist for the pharmacy located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Hutchinson, KS.

As a per-diem pharmacist for our pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC); you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy type setting with a Monday thru Friday potential schedule. As the per-dem pharmacist, you will be responsible in managing our pharmacy relationship with our health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, acting as a member of the patient care team, and attendance of clinical meetings.

As the per-dem pharmacist, you are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care - from advising on prescriptions to helping chronic and specialty conditions. In addition, you are responsible for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading, and directing your pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.

Requirements

Required Education & Licenses

• Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
• Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required.

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required.
• 3 years related pharmacy experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional patient service skills.

Salary Description

$60-70/hr
