Responsibilities

• Ensure quality assurance steps for accurate prescriptions.
• Comply with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Oversee submission and collection of third-party claims.
• Manage pharmacy inventory for optimal turns and in-stock customer service.
• Maintain prescription files and records per guidelines.
• Provide outstanding customer service by all employees.
• Ensure loss prevention policies are followed and reported.
• Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy environment.
• Develop professional relationships with doctors and health professionals.
• Stay informed on pharmacy and health care developments relevant to duties.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Facilitate communication between staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Assist in meeting budgetary sales guidelines and operate within them.
• Interface with auditors and outside agencies as needed.
