UCI Health in Irvine, California, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to manage drug distribution and provide drug therapy monitoring. This position requires clinical experience and a California pharmacy license.
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will direct technicians, supervise inventory control, and contribute to patient care through consultations. UCI Health offers benefits including medical insurance and retirement savings plans.
Pharmacists perform the day to day responsibilities of drug distribution, computer drug and IV order processing. Perform therapeutic intervention as needed, drug information and consultation to other professional staff and patients, the maintenance of patient profiles, attendance at cardio‑pulmonary emergencies, drug therapy monitoring, and drug compounding. The Staff Pharmacist is also responsible for directing technicians, performing inventory control, and actively precepting pharmacy residents, students, technicians or interns as assigned by the supervisor. This position is a Direct Care Provider as defined in Pharmacy Policy.
