Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a Pharmacist for Per Diem (PRN) coverage at PMS Central Pharmacy in Albuquerque, NM. The candidate must hold an active NM Pharmacist license and be able to float between locations as needed. Schedule aligns with Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm with lunch break.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Pharm. D. from an approved school of pharmacy.
• Clear/Current NM Pharmacist License required. No disciplinary actions on NM BOP.
• One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Knowledge of policies and regulations pertaining to dispensing drugs.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• Act as alternate store leader when Pharmacist-In-Charge is unavailable.
• Consult with physicians regarding prescriptions and irregularities.
• Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures where applicable.
• Monitor drug therapy for interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
• Maintain patient medication records and controlled substance inventory.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in routine duties.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Attend required programs and meetings.
