Job summary

Janus RX-Butler, PA, is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support the busy community pharmacy in Butler, PA. The PRN Pharmacist works under the Pharmacist in Charge to assist with dispensing, verification, and workflow, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD/BPharm, PA licensure, and strong communication and computer skills. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8a-5p; weekends/major holidays are closed. This is a per diem role with opportunities to contribute to community health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Pharmacy accredited by ACPE; PharmD or Baccalaureate required.
• Current and valid Pharmacist license in the state (PA) and eligibility to practice.
• Ability to read and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and verify drug distribution tasks when PIC is unavailable.
• Prepare, label, and dispense medications per orders.
• Maintain accurate records for medications and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards across all ages.
