Job summary

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Staff Pharmacist for our Stowe area locations. The role emphasizes team-based patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting within an integrated pharmacy model.

Experience in retail pharmacy, strong communication, and adherence to regulatory standards are required. The pharmacist will interpret and fill orders, counsel patients, and may serve as acting Pharmacist-in-Charge in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• Understanding of drug indications, interactions, dosing and safety.
• Ability to communicate technical information to diverse staff and patients.
• Ability to supervise and train pharmacy staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders and provide patient counseling.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager in absence of the store pharmacist/manager.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Collaborate with physicians on prescription questions or irregularities.
• Maintain medication records and compliance with regulations.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and ethical policies.
