Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team in Monticello, KY seeks a compassionate per-diem pharmacist to support pharmacy operations and collaborate with the pharmacy manager. The role involves engaging with providers, educating patients, and leading pharmacy staff to meet goals.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30–5 with a 30-minute lunch; no weekends or major holidays. You will maintain patient quality care, ensure HIPAA compliance, and uphold regulatory standards while delivering excellent service

Qualifications

• Licensed/credentialed as required by federal and state regulations.
• BS Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years related pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, addressing knowledge gaps through education and training.
• Pharmacy operational management and oversight including Patient Safety, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Personnel Management, Inventory, Profitability, and Loss Prevention.
• Stay current with HIPAA and Fraud Waste and Abuse credentialing.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and local facility policies.

Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is looking for a compassionate, patient centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. Our goal is to make you feel empowered in the role that you play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the pharmacy manager. This position is for a per-diem pharmacist for the pharmacy located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Monticello, KY. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-5 and closed 30 mins for lunch (hours may change as needed).

As a per-diem pharmacist for our pharmacies located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy type setting with a Monday thru Friday potential schedule. As the per-diem pharmacist, you will be responsible in managing our pharmacy relationship with our health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, and acting as a member of the patient care team.

Requirements

Required Education & Licenses

• Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
• Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required.

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required.
• 3 years related pharmacy experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional patient service skills.
