Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties associated with the processing of prescriptions. The pharmacies operate Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00, with immunizations administered as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, providing drug information to customers, and delivering a superior level of customer service while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in state of which you will work.

We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Our pharmacies are Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 5:00.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy * Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail Experience
• Long Term Care/Assisted Living experience
• Behavior or Mental Health experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
