Summary
Accountable for interpreting the medical care plan, assessing patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, ensuring safe and competent nursing care delivery, providing individualized care, and evaluating nursing outcomes for groups of patients.
Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Record medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Adjust treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions.

Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts preferred.
Experience
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Familiarity with nursing principles and skills for patient care and treatment.
- Knowledge of care requirements for relevant age groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
