Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a PRN Perfusionist to support open heart and cardiovascular procedures in Florence, SC. You will coordinate and participate in the setup and operation of heart/lung machines under the supervision of the Chief Perfusionist/Director of Surgical Services.

Required credentials include a BS/BS with perfusion certificate, ABCP certification, and BLS. Three to five years of clinical experience is preferred. MUSC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Perfusion Technology or Bachelor of Science with a certificate in Perfusion Technology from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.
• Three to five years of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion required.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
