Position Overview

PM Pediatric Care is expanding and looking for pediatricians to join our team of over 70 PEM providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for in‑person and telemedicine patients, including febrile infant/child, ear/nose/throat infections, abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma.
• Perform procedural care: abscess drainage, foreign body removal, laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretation, with official radiology over‑reads where applicable.
• Oversee in‑person and telemedicine patient flow, daily office functions, and supervise other providers, staff, and trainees on shift.
• Maintain operations by following policies, reporting needed changes, ensuring lab and radiology result review, patient follow‑up, and timely responses to patient calls and questions.
• Ensure a safe, secure, equitable work environment by enforcing safety procedures, quality standards, and complying with legal regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Update knowledge through internal training, continuing education, and participation in professional organizations.
• Assist the clinical team and patients with complaints and participate in service recovery when needed.
• Focus on efficiency metrics to improve urgent care flow, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Motivated, energetic, and passionate about pediatric healthcare.
• Excellent critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent computer skills; experience with EMR (eCW experience preferred).

Work Schedule

Flexible schedule, 12‑36 hours per week (part‑time or full‑time). No overnights.

Compensation

$105,000 – $170,000; actual salary may vary by experience and location.
