Job summary
Boston Children's Hospital is looking for a Pediatric Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional care to pediatric patients. The candidate will evaluate patient needs and develop care plans while supervising dietetic technicians. The role is per diem with flexibility in scheduling, including weekend rotations. A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and at least 3 years of experience in Dietetics, including pediatric nutrition, are required, along with licensure in Massachusetts and registration as a dietitian.
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition.
Registered Dietitian credential from Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licensure as a Dietitian in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
Provide basic nutritional care to patients on assigned inpatient units.
Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs.
Develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans.
Assist in supervising the daily work of the dietetic technician.
