Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking a PCU RN for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. You’ll choose shifts that fit your life, with options for daily or weekly pay.

You set your own schedule and can work as little as one shift per month, with competitive per diem pay and easy mobile scheduling. Active Virginia RN license and recent PCU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings.
• Monitor patient conditions and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Document care in electronic medical records and follow infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
