Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks under time constraints and constant interruption.
• Basic knowledge of unit weights and measures and basic mathematical functions.
• Prior experience in a patient care capacity strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient trays as assigned, including regularly scheduled meals and snacks, and assists with menu selections.
• Loads and pushes hot and cold food trucks and transports equipment.
• Completes the menu rounds process and verifies diet orders; adjusts menus for modified diets.
• Retrieves patient trays and returns them to the main kitchen; cleans and restocks carts.
